GALA Summer Art Program 2012

If you are not registering your child for the entire 6 weeks, please select the number of classes you would like to pay for and the instructor will follow up with you to confirm which classes your child will attend.

Policy and Procedures:

  1. Classes are filled first come first serve.  Registration Fee must be paid at time of registration.
  2. If the first class of a session is missed, your child’s spot is not guaranteed.  No make-up classes.
  3. Your child is expected to arrive on time.  Students cannot be dropped off more than 15 minutes before the start of class. Students are to be picked up promptly after the end of class. There will be a charge of $15 per half hour increment for any student not picked up on time.
  4. A registration form & release must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian prior to participation.

Although there is a small fee for participation, full and partial scholarships are available at time of registration.* All supplies are included in cost of class. Classes and scholarships are first come, first serve. Please select classes below. *Children who qualify for free lunch qualify for Free classes, children who quailfy for reduced price lunches qualify for 1/2 price classes.



World of Color Summer Tuesdays, June 12th thru July 17th

Color - 2-D Acrylics and Mixed Media Students will explore the versatility of acrylics learning various techniques working with acrylic paints, gels and mediums on canvas, watercolor paper and hardboard.

Elementary School Ages 6-9: 10:30 a.m-Noon
Junior/Senior High School Ages 10+: 1:00-3:30 p.m.

World of Clay - Summer: Thursdays, June 14th thru July 19th

3-D Clay This is your passport for a creative journey to explore the significance of art from other cultures, and to borrow ideas to make your own unique creations in clay.
