Gulf Alliance for Local Arts

In Attendance:   Kim Harrison, Don Ouellette, Sandie Yarbrough, Dolores Lowry,
    Kellee Novak, Anissa Neubauer, and Ed Tiley (late)

President Don Ouellette called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. ET


New Business:

•    A printed copy of the Treasurer’s report was unavailable, although Don noted that it had not changed appreciatively.  As a quorum was not available, the Treasurer’s report and the June minutes will be reviewed and a vote taken to approve at the next monthly meeting.
•    Kellee discussed the update of the GALA website as well as a new Facebook page

Old Business:

A roundtable was held during the remainder of the meeting discussing on-going projects, membership tracking, use of Facebook, and new projects-notably Ghost of the Coast and an adult Community Theater with performances in the area, and a possible organizational name change.

A suggestion was made that when replying to e-mail messages among board members the “reply all” function should be used so that information is shared with everyone.

A motion was made by Sandie Yarbrough and seconded by Kim Harrison to adjourn the meeting.  The motion passed unanimously.

Next meeting:  Monday, August 24, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time at the GALA office at 222 Reid Avenue, Port St. Joe
