The following events have been presented or supported by the Gulf Alliance for Local Arts.
2006
Forgotten Coast Great Paint Out (May) featured 18 national and international plein air artists who painted Apalachicola, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, Wewa and points between. Artwork was then sold to the public at a Great Gatsby Beach Party on Friday and Community Bar-B-Que on Sunday.
The Forgotten Coast Artists' Showcase (April) in conjunction with the Antique and Classic Boat Show in Apalachicola.
2005
Music by the Bay Series: Tallahassee violinist Mark Russell (November) performed in Pate Park, Port St. Joe in collaboration with the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce.
Ghost on the Coast with storyteller Pat Nease (October), Reid Avenue, Port St. Joe
Monumental Music: Mojo Manouche (October) performed in Centennial Park, Port St. Joe in collaboration with the Junior Service League.First Friday: A Fine Art and Music Series (September): Photographers Tim Gussman, Debbie Hooper, and Ed Tiley with musicians, John Mazzanovich and Tom Conner at The Port Inn in Port St. Joe.
First Friday: A Fine Art and Music Series (August): Local painter, Tom Wood, and musician Carole L. Kelly at The Port Inn in Port St. Joe.
Tallahassee group, Tocamos, (July) performs as part of the Independence on the Coast, Port St. Joe.
First Friday: A Fine Art and Music Series (July): Mexico Beach photographer, Dana Palmer, and jazz group, Swing Set, from Panama City at The Port Inn in Port St. Joe.
First Friday: A Fine Art and Music Series (June): Local artist, Chris Merriam, and acoustical guitarist, Brady Pugh, at The Port Inn in Port St. Joe.
First Friday: A Fine Art and Music Series (May): Watercolorist, Chuck Creasy, and Afro-Caribbean group, Tocamos, from Tallahassee at The Port Inn in Port St. Joe.
Tallahassee group, Tocamos, (May) performs for Franklin County elementary children as part of the Sheriff's Office Youth Rally.
The Forgotten Coast Artists' Showcase (April) in conjunction with the Antique and Classic Boat Show in Apalachicola.
2004
Ghost on the Coast with storyteller Pat Nease (October), Reid Avenue, Port St. Joe
Taste of the Coast: An Artful Affair (April). Fourteen restaurants participated and local artists and authors contributed works to be sold at auction.
The Forgotten Coast Artists' Showcase (April) in conjunction with the Antique and Classic Boat Show in Apalachicola. Booth fees were used for artists' awards and attending children created two large community paintings.
Arts in the Sun (April): An 18 station visual and performing arts event for 4th and 5th grade students of Gulf County Schools by local musicians, actors, and visual artists. Filmed by the Florida Education Channel and available to Florida educators.
Pensacola Opera's Young Artists in Residence (February) presented eight performance for six elementary schools in Franklin and Gulf Counties.
