GALA is excited to offer our Creative Writing Workshop to all of our Gulf and Franklin county high school seniors. This new project is specifically designed to help college bound students create original ideas for and compose essays to better showcase themselves when applying for college acceptance and/or scholarships.
The free seminar/workshop will be held at the Gulf/Franklin Center and taught by Mary Gibson. Mrs. Gibson lives in Port St Joe and has extensive knowledge of the college admission and scholarship process. As an educator and local citizen, Mrs. Gibson has long been a proponent of helping students in our area obtain their highest goals.
The first Creative Writing Workshop is slated for Fall of 2010. All area high school seniors are invited and encouraged to attend. More information will be available soon once the details have been finalized.
