FRIDAY 12
Registration at the CGJ Museum @1001 Gray Avenue. Pick up name tags, (Should be worn at all times) schedules, and tickets to the Saturday night Dinner/Dance ($15.00 per person) and breakfast ($6.00 a person).
There will be boat trips to Dog Island for those who are interested. See Bobbye Winchester @ registration for rides. Tours of the Coast Guard Cutter “Seahawk” are available if she is in port.
Also tours of the Army’s LCU2034 Landing Craft the “New Orleans” will be available; both are on the south end of Marine Street. this is a real treat for military veterans and enthuiasts.
6pm until Official welcome at American Legion Post 82 in Lanark. This event is sponsored by the Legion members and the Ladies Auxiliary.
Free refreshments will be served and “NOT QUIET READY” live band will play for your entertainment.
Drinks must be purchased at the bar.:
SATURDAY 13th
7:30-10:00 AM Breakfast will be served at the Masonic Lodge. The cost will be $6.00 a person. Pay at the door if you did not purchase a ticket at the Museum.
10:45 AM –Parade on Highway 98. There will be seating at the corner of Highway 98 and Marine Street.
12:00 Noon- The City of Carrabelle will sponsor a free lunch in front of the newly renovated Volunteer Fire Department on Tallahassee Street.
After lunch there will be static display of military vehicles & equipment as well as re-enactors to view. If you wish to see the Beach Property where the new museum will be located, see Tony Minichiello.
5pm - until
Dinner Dance at Chillas Hall in Lanark Village. Choice of Seafood or Ham.

The Supporters of St Vincent (a 501 C 3) sponsor this annual open house to provide a day of easy access to Franklin County’s St Vincent Island for people to enjoy a free full day of nature-related activities. $10 per person(children under 8 free) transport to/from the island will be provided hourly. Guided tours and exhibits will allow people to learn about the island’s protected wildlife, diverse ecosystems, and history as well as enjoy the unspoiled beauty of this unique pristine uninhabited refuge. These services including educational talks/discussions will be provided by numerous volunteers from the Supporters and various community organizations. The guided tours will be both walking and vehicular. Light snacks and bottled water will be available (rain date April 10).

Panhandle Pioneer Settlement
The Panhandle Pioneer Settlement will be having their annual folk Life Days April 8th, 9th, and 10th. Please come out and join all the demonstrations: Biscuit making, soap making, quilting, knitting, crocheting, and washing clothes.
Other features relating to life on the farm includes: Bee Keeping, blacksmithing, wood carving, making crackling, churning butter, and using a saw mill. 12th Annual Apalachicola Antique & Classic Boat Show Friday and Saturday, April 23-24, 2010. Antique boats, examples of classic and traditional vessels, workboats, and fiberglass and aluminum classics will all be on display throughout the day. This festival emphasizes the maritime history of our picturesque coastal town. Special highlights include authentic oyster boats, workboats, and home-built boats by skilled craftsmen, antique outboard engines, plus antique automobiles and art booths. The classic, gaff rigged schooner, Governor Stone, will be featured dockside. Built in 1877, it has been totally restored and is an exhibit unto itself. It is a National Historic Landmark.
We will also have over 20 antique automobiles.
The Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve will have displays on the Apalachicola River and its flora and fauna, plus the Franklin County Seafood Workers Association will have demonstrations on oyster tonging. There will also be a 2- day hands-on team boat building activitiy and a boat building demonstration. For the first time there will be an indoor, climate controlled venue for model boat builders to display their work.

This exciting fishing tournament provides fun for the whole family! The Charity this year is the "Warrior Beach Retreat" and the "Forgotten Coast Warrior Weekend" - the Charities will directly benefit our Veterans returning with traumatic injuries.
The Tournament will begin with a Captain's Meeting Friday Evening at 6:00, with live music, grilled sausage, cold beer, and fish stories, and will conclude with a review of rules, questions and great prizes. Fishing can begin at the conclusion of the meeting, with weigh in from 2:30pm to 6:30pm on Saturday.
