Kristin Anderson
Kristin Anderson creates jewelry that a professional archaeologist once looked at and remarked, "When someone digs this up, it will become a national treasure!" Kristin trained at Portland State College and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Art Metal from the University of Wisconsin. She's taught silversmith and studied under enamellist David Andersen A/S in Oslo, Norway for two years. She creates unique and individual jewelry items from necklaces to wedding rings and works in gold, silver, gems and vitreous champleve enamels. Her jewelry has been displayed and sold at major art fairs for fifteen years before she moved to Apalachicola.
Kristin is affiliated with the Society of North American Goldsmiths. She opened the 'Long Dream Gallery' in Apalachicola in 1985. To learn more about Kristin, visit her website at http:/www.kristinworks.com.
